Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian reveals heartwarming details about prayers, long hugs, and bed time with daughter Olympia

Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, opened up about one of his favorite times of the day as a father. Williams and Ohanian have two daughters, seven-year-old Olympia and one-year-old Adira.

The Reddit co-founder often shares heartfelt glimpses into their family life. Reflecting on the joys of fatherhood, Ohanian expressed his fondness for bedtime routines with Olympia. Taking to X, he wrote:

"Bed time is easily one of my favorite times of the day as a dad, because it means "uppy" (carrying her upstairs and getting a looooong hug), we get to do prayers, we recap the day... and she's finally going to sleep 😆😅 so I get the rest of the night back to myself!"

An X account shared their perspective in the comments, saying they know many parents who view bedtime as a chore but they cherish it as the only time for guaranteed long hugs and cuddles. In response, Ohanian wholeheartedly agreed:

"Yes! She's already 7 years old, I gotta really take advantage of these windows..."

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s journey began with a chance meeting in Rome in 2015. Over a year later, the couple announced their engagement in December 2016.

The pair's love story reached a new milestone in September 2017 with the birth of their first child, Olympia, followed by a glamorous wedding months later in November.

Serena Williams took to X to share a compilation video of her spending a day in her life post-retirement. In the caption, she detailed that instead of chasing a ball like on the tennis court she now chases her youngest. The 43-year-old also revealed that she is training her eldest in tennis.

"My life is very different now. Instead of chasing balls, I’m chasing #Adira and helping #Olympia with tennis lessons and cooking. (And, all this is in-between Venture Capital calls)," she caption the post.

Beyond her personal life, Williams has experienced remarkable success in her professional ventures. She owns the beauty brand Wyn and manages a venture capital fund bearing her name.

Additionally, the 43-year-old is a co-owner of several sports franchises, including Angel City FC and Los Angeles Golf Club, alongside her entrepreneur husband, Alexis Ohanian.
