Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shows off $3.5 Billion-worth Michael Jordan's 'classic' baseball trading card

Serena Williams' husband and Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian flaunted a 'classic' baseball trading card of NBA legend Michael Jordan. The Seven Seven Six owner is a lifelong collector and has the world's largest collection of Williams' trading cards.

Ohanian took to X on Friday to share that his co-owned Mantel, a content-sharing platform for sports card collectors, had inspired him to obtain Jordan's card from the former NBA champion's baseball playing days. Sharing pictures of the NBA Hall of Famer's GM MT 10 card from 1994, he wrote:

"The @onMantel community inspired me — I had to cop a GM MT 10 of this classic MJ card from his year of baseball."

Jordan, who is worth $3.5 billion per Forbes, spent a solitary season in 1994 with the Birmingham Barons. He participated in 127 games and ended with a batting average of .202.

Ohanian, a lifelong fan of Jordan, also has a MJ '86 Fleer card of the five-time NBA MVP. He acquired the card in 2023, and deemed it to be 'contemporary art'.

"Contemporary art. I finally add the iconic MJ '86 Fleer to my grail collection. 😤🎨", he wrote

Ohanian is also a big fan of the late basketball player Kobe Bryant and was inspired by his 'unapologetic' love for his daughters.

Following the death of Kobe Bryant in 2020 in a helicopter crash, Alexis Ohanian paid a heartfelt tribute to the NBA legend and said that he was impressed by the American's love towards his three daughters. In a video shared by the entrepreneur on his Instagram handle, he said:

“As a fellow girl dad, one of the things that always impressed me about Kobe was his unapologetic love for his daughters and how much he championed them and supported them and just how proud he was."

“The same thing that made him great on the court he was bringing to every single thing he was doing off the court,” Alexis Ohanian added.

The 41-year-old shares two daughters with Serena Williams, Olympia and Adira. The couple welcomed Olympia a month before their marriage in 2017 while Adria was born in 2024, and Ohanian frequently shares the achievements of his daughters on social media.
