Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian was recently inspired by the golfing prowess of Tommy Fleetwood, the English golfer whose net worth is estimated to be $5 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth). Fleetwood is a seven-time winner on the European Tour, and he also leveraged his exceptional golfing skills earlier this year to win the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics for Great Britain.

On Monday, December 23, an X (formerly Twitter) page known for sharing golfing instructions and tips posted a video of the Brit. The video focused on his diverse array of shot shapes, capturing the pro golfers' high skill level when it comes to moving golf balls in multiple directions. The post was captioned:

"Tommy Fleetwood hitting 11 different shot shapes is fun to watch. It's amazing to see pros move the golf ball in so many directions."

Alexis Ohanian, the Reddit co-founder who married the legendary Serena Williams in 2017, took notice of the video and reacted to it in the early hours of Saturday, December 28. Ohanian opined that he had begun the morning correctly by observing Fleetwood do what he does best. He admitted that he found the Brit's skills on the golf course inspirational.

"Started this morning off right, watching the smooth @TommyFleetwood1, now inspired to go shank some balls later today on the range," Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian wrote.

Ohanian's interest in golf seemingly skyrocketed last year after he saw pictures of Williams briefly playing the sport as part of a Super Bowl commercial.

In February 2023, Serena Williams featured in a Super Bowl commercial, in which she played golf. Even though Williams didn't have much experience of the sport, she looked quite natural with a golf club in her hands. The former World No. 1 and 23-time singles Grand Slam champion took to Instagram to share a few moments from the commercial shoot, and could be seen enjoying golfing.

The tennis legend's husband, Alexis Ohanian, impressed by what he saw from his wife, later shared Williams' post as an Instagram Story of his. He captioned it:

"Ok I'm gonna get into golf"

Ohanian may not be a natural when it comes to playing golf. However, despite this, he has already made a money move by investing in the creation of the Los Angeles Golf Club, a team that's set to participate in the TGL golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory Mcllroy.
