Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian has thanked his father, Chris, for advice in a creative cold open for 776's AGM this year. Ohanian revealed that his father liked the concept of Athlos, the only all-female track event.
Ohanian took to his Instagram story to share a snippet of his "cold open" for 776's AGM. In it, he calls his father and asks for his "sage fatherly wisdom" for a presentation during the AGM in which he has to tell all his LPs about the organization's work in the past year.
Chris advised Alexis to speak slowly. When asked about Athlos, Chris said he loved it and had never dealt with such loud volumes referring to Megan Thee Stallion's performance. In the caption, the 41-year-old wrote:
"Our 776 content team pitched me on a unique cold open for our AGM this year and I think it turned out pretty great. Thanks for the fatherly advice, Dad! I'll share your feedback with @theestallion-but glad you still liked @athlos @scoreplay.io @stokespace @astroforge.lo + @interlunespace"

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian offers essential advice to founders
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian has reflected on his early days at Reddit in a video on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of founders staying deeply connected to their products and communities as their businesses grow. Drawing from his experience co-founding Reddit in 2005, he shared advice for entrepreneurs:
"When you're a founder, it is so important to stay close to your product and your community even as your business...and so if you're building something that is community first you better believe you as a founder has to be in there every day all the time leading by example being that kind of like party host...way to do it. It never stops. You gotta keep that equilibrium."
Ohanian and Williams take care of several businesses. The 23-time Grand Slam champion runs a makeup brand and a separate venture capital firm. The couple and their daughters also own stakes in several sports teams.
