Ohanian recently shared a clip on X showing his encounter with Tiger Woods ahead of their teams' TGL match on Tuesday, January 14. In the video, the Reddit co-founder holds Woods’ hand in camaraderie and playfully refers to him as "big dog."

The 41-year-old added a caption, thanking Woods for allowing him to become an early investor in TGL.

"The Greatest To Ever Do It. Thank you, @TigerWoods, for the call to be an early investor in your ambitious new golf league and for letting me play a very small part in your immense legacy. @tgl is well on its way to being something very special — and I’ll always be grateful. Also very kind of you to let us win our inaugural match so handily 😏 @wearelagc," he wrote.

A user later described their encounter as "legendary," reminiscing about the iconic "Big Dog" meme.

Ohanian's co-owned Los Angeles Golf Club went on to gain a dominant 12-1 victory over Woods' Jupiter Links Golf Club on Tuesday.

“To wit, my wife Serena [Williams] and I have enjoyed as Olympia’s taken a liking to golf. This is another piece of the legacy I’m building for my family and I hope this team can become a part of many families’ lives, too,” Ohanian said.
