Williams will be joined by NBA legend LeBron James, and Real Madrid player Kylian Mbappe as guests at the Greek's wedding, if reports are to be believed. The wedding is expected to be a three-day event at the luxury resort Costa Navarino. Antetokounmpo and his fiancee Riddlesprigger have been together since 2014 and have three children together viz. two sons -- Liam, 3-year-old Maverick, and a daughter Eva.

Williams and Antetokounmpo, icons of their respective sports, have come together to invest in Los Angeles Golf Club, an LA-based gold club, which will compete in TGL. The league's launch was postponed from 2024 to 2025.

Apart from Serena and Antetokounmpo, Venus Williams, Alexis Ohanian, Antetokounmpo brothers, Alex, Kostas, and Thanasis also hold a stake in the golf franchise.

Williams and her family met Antetokounmpo and his brother Alex, and Kostas had a get-together in July 2022, with Giannis Antetokounmpo sharing a picture from their meeting.

He wrote:

"Great family time with three GOATs 💪🏾❤️ @alexisohanian @serenawilliams @OlympiaOhanian"

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian had a hilarious reaction to being called the GOAT. He replied:

"One for sure 😆 Olympia and I have work to do. So good spending time with you & your family."

Serena Williams has indicated that she would be open to a foray into basketball through the WNBA. In an interview with CNN, the American said that she would be 'super interested' to invest in a WNBA team.

"Absolutely would be. I think with the right market, I would definitely be super interested," Williams said to CNN Sports.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion added that there was no added risk while investing in women's sports.

"I mean there is no risk. Women’s sports are exciting, women are exciting to watch. More people watched the women’s basketball in colleges than the men. So I think people are realizing that it is exciting to watch and it's an overly safe bet to me when it comes to investing," she said.
