Serena Williams offers a 'reality' check about her true self during private jet ride; Coco Gauff approves

Serena Williams recently offered a glimpse into her true self during a private jet ride. Her views on 'reality' were seconded by tennis sensation Coco Gauff.

Williams hung up her racket at the 2022 US Open when she lost to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round. Since then, the American has frequently engaged with her fans via social media to help them keep up with the latest happenings in her life, including her business ventures, family time, thoughts, etc.

The 43-year-old took to Instagram during a private jet ride where she hilariously took part in the popular 'Instagram vs Reality' trend. She posted two pictures, the first of which showed her engrossed in her work while she cozied up in her blanket. However, the second image, which was supposed to portray the 'reality' showed her taking a bite of what looked like a hot dog.

Coco Guaff, a rising star of the game, liked the post.

"Instagram Vs Reality …," she captioned her post.

Retirement hasn't meant downtime for Serena Williams, who has ventured into various other fields. She has opened up her own makeup line WYN Beauty, authored books, given her voice to films and TV shows, invested in sports teams, among other things.

She also recently tweeted about how she would only check her emails and messages past midnight.

"I love this time of day. I get to catch up on work and emails and messages," Williams tweeted.

"Pretty relaxed" - Serena Williams made a sarcastic video giving a look into her 'usual' schedule

Serena Williams recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to sarcastically quip about a 'usual' day in her 'relaxed' schedule. In the video, she can be seen prepping and attending the DealBook Summit in New York, following which she flew out to Florida for an Audemars Piguet x Vanity Fair event.

At the end of the video, as she readied herself to sleep after a stirring day, she said,

"I'm so tired. Feels like, I've been going non-stop for 24 hours."

Williams made a sarcastic tweet with the video.

“Them: “how was your day? Me: “oh, you know the usual. Pretty relaxed,” she tweeted.

Williams also attended the Vogue x WYN Beauty event which was recently held in Miami, where she glammed herself up in a classy red dress. She also posted several photos from the event on Instagram and detailed how she came up with the idea to start her own makeup brand.
