Martina Navratilova condemned Kash Patel, Donald Trump’s FBI Director nominee, for his book Government Gangsters, which includes a list of individuals Patel accuses of undermining Trump’s presidency.

Recently, President-elect Trump took to the social media platform Truth Social to announce that he is nominating his staunch ally from his first term, Patel, for the role of FBI Director.

"Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution," Trump wrote.

Patel has been a key figure in supporting Trump’s narratives, including challenging the results of the 2020 presidential election. Patel's book, Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy, calls for significant changes within the FBI, including removing top-ranking officials.

The book also sparked controversy for naming officials he claims undermined Trump. The list includes prominent figures like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Hillary Clinton, whom Patel suggests should be targeted for investigation.

The list was shared on X by Tim Miller. Navratilova reacted strongly to the emergence of Patel’s target list, calling the situation "sickening."

"This is sickening… and so many a**hole senators will defend this monster," she wrote on X.

Earlier, Navratilova reacted to Kash Patel’s nomination as FBI Director, amplifying concerns over his controversial statements. MSNBC aired a video later shared by an X user, highlighting Patel’s remarks.

In the clip, Patel claimed that individuals who allegedly assisted Joe Biden in election manipulation would be targeted. The post criticized Patel’s nomination as part of an "authoritarian quest" and referred to him as a "conspiracy theorist."

Navratilova reshared it and wrote:

"Jesus…"

Joe Biden controversially made a U-turn on his decision to pardon his son Hunter, who faced a lengthy time in prison with the charges levied on him.

In June, Biden had announced that he would not interfere with Hunter's case and let the jury decide. However, he recently announced his decision to pardon Hunter, claiming that "there has been an effort to break Hunter" and that "enough is enough."

President-elect Donald Trump called it an "abuse and miscarriage of justice." CNN's Manu Raju shared on X that a close ally of Biden explained that Hunter's pardon was influenced by Trump's upcoming appointments.

Martina Navratilova shared Raju's post and wrote:

"Exactly. The field of play completely changed this summer. trump made it clear all bets were off"

Joe Biden will leave the President's office soon as Donald Trump will be sworn in for a second term in January 2025.
