Caroline Wozniacki fondly revisited the time she and Rafael Nadal were named the ITF World Champions in 2010. While Wozniacki received the award only once in her career, Nadal was honored with it five times.

Wozniacki's 2010 season was one of her best on the WTA Tour, as she reached the finals in eight tournaments, winning six of them and finishing the year as World No.1 . Her first good result of the year was when she finished as the runner-up at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

The Dane then successfully defended her title at the Amelia Island Championships and went on to win the Danish Open and the Canadian Open by defeating Klara Zakopalova and Vera Zvonareva in the finals, respectively. Her last three titles of the year came at the Connecticut Open, Pan Pacific Open, and the China Open.

On the other hand, in 2010, Rafael Nadal won three out of the four Grand Slam tournaments . He claimed the title at the French Open by beating Robin Soderling in the final, won the title at Wimbledon by defeating Tomas Berdych, and then took home the US Open title by overcoming Novak Djokovic in the title clash.

That year, the former World No.1 also made history by becoming the first and only player to date to complete the Clay Slam, which is winning the Monte-Carlo Masters, Madrid Open, Italian Open, and the French Open in a single calendar year. He also finished the year as the World No.1

Recently, the official social media account of the ITF Tennis shared a series of pictures featuring some of the players who were named ITF World Champions. One of the photos included Caroline Wozniacki and Rafael Nadal when they were crowned world champions in 2010.

Wozniacki re-shared the ITF Tennis post on her social media, specifically the picture of herself and the Spaniard. She commented that they both were very "young" when the photo was taken.

"We were so young!! @rafaelnadal," Wozniacki captioned her Instagram story.

Rafael Nadal was named the ITF World Champions for the first time in 2008. That year, he won two Grand Slam titles - the French Open and the Wimbledon Championships where he triumphed over Roger Federer in the finals of both the tournaments.

The Spaniard also secured a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics after defeating Fernando Gonzalez in the final match . Nadal also emerged victorious at the Monte-Carlos Masters and the Hamburg Open, again defeating Federer in the finals of both events

The 22-time Grand Slam champion claimed the singles title at the Canadian Open by defeating Nicolas Kiefer in the final.
