Madison Keys won her maiden Major title at the 2025 Australian Open in scintillating fashion on Saturday (January 25), overcoming two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in three sets. The following day, the American donned a stunning blue dress during the media day in Melbourne.
Madison Keys, who had previously finished runner-up at the 2017 US Open, defeated Aryna Sabalenka 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 in the women's singles summit clash in Melbourne on Saturday. The World No. 14 celebrated her Major breakthrough by sporting an Arella linen dress with box pleats and a high waist on Sunday during the women's champion photoshoot.
The mini dress is baby blue colored with a sharp collar, button front and capped sleeves. The 29-year-old paired her look with a gold bracelet and was all smiles as her body complimented the form of the outfit well. The dress costs US $218 and is available online on Reformation, a famous sustainable women's clothing brand.
Keys went on a giant-killing run at this year's Australian Open. After winning the title at the Adelaide International - a tune-up event to the Happy Slam - she carried her rich vein of form into the first Major tournament of the year, beating the likes of Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and Elina Svitolina en route to the final.
Madison Keys to rise to career-high ranking of World No. 7 in next week's WTA rankings
By virtue of her title victory at the 2025 Australian Open, Madison Keys will match her career-best WTA ranking of World No. 7. The American gained 2,000 ranking points from her Melbourne triumph, leapfrogging seven places from No. 14 to No. 7.
Keys will join her American peers Coco Gauff (No. 3), Jessica Pegula (No. 6) and Emma Navarro (No. 9) in the women's top 10. The 29-year-old had first risen to seventh in the singles rankings in October 2017 following her US Open final run. However, she struggled with her consistency in the following years. She even ended the 2023 season outside the women's top 50 after six consecutive year-end top 20 finishes in 2015-20.
Having said that, the 2025 Australian Open champion has made plenty of amends this year. She started this year ranked 19th in the world but finds herself comfortably in the top 10 after her Melbourne and Adelaide triumphs.
