'Barbie' is an upcoming comedy film directed by Gerwig, set to be released in the United States and the United Kingdom on July 21, 2023.
On Tuesday, March 4, Tsitsipas took to social media to respond to a meme shared by Wilson Tennis, which was inspired by Gerwig's movie. The meme humorously suggests that Wilson collaborated with the film by providing tennis rackets. As a result, fans across social media were left in stitches.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is currently being followed by Netflix's film crew for season two of their docuseries, Break Point. He is thrilled to be a part of the project and believes it is an excellent concept. Although he would have relished the opportunity to direct the show, he is content with being an actor in it.
In an interview with World Tennis Magazine prior to the highly anticipated Monte-Carlo Masters, Tsitsipas discussed the Break Point series. He expressed his delight at being a part of one of the most thrilling endeavors in the world of tennis currently.
"I have mixed emotions regarding this. I always wanted to have something like this in tennis and would have probably liked to have been the director of it!" Tsitsipas said. However, it’s exciting to be an ‘actor’ in one of the most exciting things happening in tennis in terms of the exposure and hopefully bringing new fans and people to the sport."
"Filmmaking is something that I will take even more seriously once my playing career is over. I have always shown a lot of interest in it. I have always been willing to learn and get better at it. Filmmaking represents me very well," Stefanos Tsitsipas said.
"It represents my ideas about life and allows me to capture the highlights that life has to offer. I feel like an author when I have the camera in my hand. It is a piece of art that I can entirely express myself through in any shape or form whenever I want," he added.
The World No. 3 also expressed his love of filmmaking during the interview, saying that it represented him very well as it allowed him to capture the "highlights" of his life.
