Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle playfully called the American a 'bot' after he reached his third final in Eastbourne. Fritz defeated Aleksandar Vukic 7-6(5), 7-6(4) in a hard-fought semifinal to reach the summit clash.

The 25-year-old kicked off his grass swing at the Queen's Club Championships where he ousted Taro Daniel and Milos Raonic in the opening two rounds. He won both of these matches in straight sets. But, the American's run was comfortably 6-4, 6-3 ended by Jordan Thompson.

Fritz then entered the Rothesay International in Eastbourne, where he is a two-time champion. Seeded first at the tournament, he received a bye in the opening round and kicked off his run with a 7-6(4), 6-3 win against Thiago Seyboth Wild. The American won a tough two-setter 7-6(5), 7-6(5) to see off Shang Juncheng in the quarterfinals following which he defeated Vukic in the final 4.

The World No. 13 will face Max Purcell in the final in a bid to win his third title in Eastbourne.

Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle, who is often seen accompanying him on the tour shared a photo of the American in the gym on her Instagram Story as she playfully teased him by calling him an "Eastbourne bot", alluding to his string of successful performances at the tournament.

Taylor Fritz won the Rothesay International for the first time in 2019 when he defeated compatriot Sam Querry 6-3, 6-4 in the final. He replicated this feat in 2022 when he defeated another compatriot Maxime Querry 6-2, (4)6-7, 7-6(4) to win the title for the second time.

After his final at the Rothesay International, Taylor Fritz will head to Wimbledon for the final stop of the grass swing where the American is seeded 13th. He will face his third straight match against an Australian when he begins his campaign against Christopher O'Connell. This will be the second meeting between the two men with Fritz winning the lone match in the second round of the Madrid Masters last year.

A quarterfinalist in 2022, Fritz had a disappointing outing at SW19 last year. Seeded ninth, the American avoided a huge upset against Yannick Hanfmann in the opening round after going 2-1 down.

However, his run was ended in the subsequent round by Mikael Ymer, who put up a resilient performance to come back from two sets down to defeat the American.
