Recently, Taylor Townsend took to social media to share a video of herself and her son Adyn, teaching the little boy a lesson on being 'grateful' and 'giving.'
“Teaching gratefulness and being giving ❤️ ✨ ," Townsend captioned her Instagram story.
In the video, she guided Adyn in packing a bag full of his old clothes and shoes to donate to needy children. The three-year-old was skeptical that he would have to give away his phone, to which Townsend reassured him that he did not have to do so.
“Remember how I told you, we’re doing a giveaway. These are all your old clothes and shoes. I need you to help me put this up in the bag,” Townsend said.
“This(pointing to his phone)?” Adyn asked.
“No. Just your clothes,” the 28-year old replied.
“Not my phone?” the three-year old inquired.
“Just your clothes. Now we’re giving it to people in need. Some kids that can use it. You're so nice and kind . Thank you ! That's one bag full . Say one bag full!” Taylor Townsend said.
“One bag full!” Adyn said.

Taylor Townsend achieved some of her most impressive results on the Grand Slam stage following the birth of her son Adyn Aubrey in 2021.
Townsend reached the finals of the 2022 US Open and the 2023 French Open doubles events, teaming up with Caty McNally and Leylah Fernandez, respectively. At the New York Major, the American duo lost the title to the Czech pair of Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova. At Roland Garros, Townsend and Fernandez lost the title to the pair of Hsieh Su-wei and Wang Xinyu.
Taylor Townsend's best result at the Grand Slam stages came in 2024 when she won the Wimbledon Championships doubles event alongside Katerina Siniakova.
They were seeded fourth in the tournament and the duo began their campaign by defeating the pair of Rebeka Masarova and Linda Noskova 6-3, 7-6(5) and the duo of Olivia Gadecki and Elixane Lechemia 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 in the first and second rounds, respectively.
In the third round, the American-Czech pair overcame Leylah Fernandez and Ena Shibahara 6-2, 7-6(3) and registered a 6-1, 6-3 win over ninth-seeded pair of Lyumyla Kichenok and Jelena Ostapenko. Townsend and Siniakova then triumphed over the top seeds, Hsieh Su-wei and Elise Mertens 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals to secure their place in the final.
In the championship match, Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova triumphed over Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe 7–6(5), 7–6(1) to win the doubles title at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships.
Additionally, Townsend had a strong showing at the 2024 US Open mixed doubles, where she and her compatriot Donald Young finished as runners-up to the Italian pair of Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.
