The tennis event is slated to end on Sunday, August 4 at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Ten medal positions have already been confirmed with 5 more medals to be confirmed on the final day.
The first match of the day will be between the Czech pair of Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova taking on the Spanish pair of Cristina Bucsa and Sara Sorribes Tormo for the bronze medal in the women's doubles. For either team, it will be the second medal for their respective countries in this Olympics.
The second match of the day will see the high-profile clash between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz for the gold medal in men's singles. Already earning the rare distinction of winning the Channel Slam, Alcaraz will look to cap off this phase of the year, with a historic gold medal in his very first Olympics, whereas Djokovic will be gunning for his first gold medal in his fifth Olympics appearance.
The final tennis match of the 2024 Paris Olympics will be the gold medal match in the women's doubles. The Italian pair of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini will square off against the young Russian pair of Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider who will be playing for the Individual Neutral Athletes.
Paolini will look for a reversal of fortunes in a big final, after losing the French Open final in both singles and doubles in the same venue this year,
