Roger Federer took his dog Willow with him on his recent visit to On Running's new flagship store in London, delighting tennis fans around the world.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion and his family adopted a dog named Willow back in May 2022. While not much has been seen of Willow since then, On Running's Instagram account posted a video on Sunday of Federer bringing her along when he visited their London store on his recent visit.
Several tennis fans were elated at the sight of the Swiss acting like a "dad." One fan remarked on Twitter that Federer was following the typical parental pattern of falling in love with a dog that he initially did not want to get:
"He’s literally followed the blueprint for every dad who starts out hating the idea of getting dogs giving in to his kids and getting a dog and then falling in love with the dog to a T," the user wrote.
Another fan pointed to Roger Federer's "dog-loving character development," going from being afraid of dogs to now proudly taking Willow around London.
"Some day there will be studies done about roger’s dog-loving character development," the fan stated.

Roger Federer reportedly in talks to play commentator at Wimbledon 2023
Roger Federer hung up his tennis racquet in 2022 at the Laver Cup. He had one last hurrah in front of his fans as he played a doubles encounter alongside his good friend Rafael Nadal.
The former World No. 1 is now reportedly in talks to return to Wimbledon this year in a brand new role, that of a commentator.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the deal negotiations were the reason Federer was in London. The All England Lawn Tennis Club is also apparently planning to bestow "some kind of recognition" on the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
"Roger Federer was sighted at the All England Club last week, his second visit in recent months," read a report. "Wimbledon is exploring some kind of recognition and role for him going forward, but its form has yet to be determined."
Meanwhile, Federer is also confirmed to be in attendance at this year's edition of the Laver Cup, which is set to be held in Vancouver, Canada. He will be joined by team captains Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe, with local lad Felix Auger-Aliassime having already been announced as part of Team World.
