Tennis fans were left feeling delighted by the joint practice session of Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz ahead of their campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The upcoming Games will be Alcaraz's Olympic debut and it will mark Nadal's fourth and final appearance at the event.
This year, Nadal and Alcaraz will represent Spain in tennis at the Paris Olympics alongside, Cristina Bucsa, Sara Sorribes Tormo, Pedro Martinez, Jaume Munar, Pablo Carreno Busta, and Marcel Granollers.
Nadal is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, who made his debut at the 2004 Athens Olympics. He clinched his first gold in the singles event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and his second at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the doubles event. This year, the Spaniard will compete in both singles and doubles, partnering with Alcaraz.
Recently, Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz were seen practicing together for their doubles matches on the courts at Roland Garros in a video shared by an X user on their handle, captioning it:

Tennis fans were thrilled to see the duo training side by side and took to social media to express their excitement.
One fan claimed that it seemed like the 22-time Grand Slam champion and Alcaraz had their own coded language.
"Doubles mode activated. Looks like they have their own coded language also," a fan wrote.
While another fan predicted a "noisy" doubles match due to the players' audible grunts.
"I just realized how noisy this doubles pairing would be," they wrote.
Some fans jokingly expressed a desire to eavesdrop on Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz's conversations, suggesting that microphones be attached to capture their interactions.
"Nice to know that they are the secrets @carlosalcaraz," a fan posted.
"Quick mic them up, I want to hear," a fan wrote.
Another fan even dubbed the pair as the "king and prince" of clay courts.

Earlier this month, while speaking with the "Tennis Channel" about the 2024 Paris Olympics, Carlos Alcaraz said that he will be aiming for a title for his country. The Spaniard remarked that his goal is to win a medal, most preferably a gold.
Alacraz also claimed that playing with Rafael Nadal in the doubles would be a "dream moment" for him and that he would want to take home a gold medal in that event as well.
"I am going to go for the title, I am going to go just thinking that I will be able to win it, that's my goal to bring a medal to my country, hopefully, the gold medal. And obviously, the doubles with Rafa ( Rafael Nadal) is going to be a really dream moment for me. Obviously, we will try to bring the gold medal again," Carlos Alcaraz said [at 5:22].
Apart from his and Nadal's doubles matches, Pablo Carreno Busta along with Marcel Granollers and Cristina Bucsa, as well as Sara Sorribes Tormo, will play doubles matches.
