Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios recently shared a peek into a day in his life without his girlfriend Costeen Hatzi.
The Australian has had a rough start to the year after being in good form last year, having to miss the opening few tournaments of 2023. The 27-year-old had to withdraw from the inaugural United Cup just 24 hours before his scheduled match against Great Britain's Cameron Norrie. Subsequently, he had to miss the Adelaide warm-up and the Australian Open due to a knee injury, for which he had to go under the knife.
However, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist still managed to keep fans updated on his off-field activities, as he took to social media to share what his day without his girlfriend looks like. Nick Kyrgios has been dating his model girlfriend since December 2021. Hatzi is a Sydney-based blogger and influencer with over 170,000 followers on Instagram.
Kyrgios posted a picture of himself playing the game 'Pokemon Unite,' revealing that he follows this routine whenever he isn't with Hatzi.
"When Costeen Hatzi is gone this is my life," Kyrgios captioned his Instagram story.
Nick Kyrgios earlier spoke about having kids with his girlfriend
Nick Kyrgios had earlier spoken about being a father in the future, ruling out it happening immediately even though he certainly had plans for it.
The Australian and Hatzi have been seen frequently together, with the latter attending almost all of Kyrgios' matches. Last year, after finishing his 2022 season on a high note, Kyrgios took some time off tennis as he reflected on certain major aspects of his life.
The 2022 US Open quarterfinalist opened up about potential fatherhood and also about his relationship with Hatzi in a Q&A session on Instagram with fans. Nick Kyrgios admitted that he was interested in having kids with Hatzi but also stated that it wouldn't happen for at least a year and a half.
"I would like them asap. But Coz (Costeen Hatzi) would like to wait a year and a half," Kyrgios said on his Instagram story.
Speaking further about her, Kyrgios declared that he was "lucky" to have his girlfriend in his life and that he planned to share his remaining time with her.
"Honestly I'm so lucky. She has managed to navigate through a lot of BS and continues to love me for me. But I have her back and only want to provide and share my time remaining with her," he said.
