In the on-court interview after his fourth-round match, Lorenzo Musetti talked about going through a challenging year off-court, with his girlfriend Veronica Confalonieri getting pregnant and giving birth to the couple's first child, Ludovico.
He said that with all the changes happening around him, he needed a little more time to find a balance between his personal and professional life. He added that he was happy that he did not stop persevering.
"It has been almost an year, really challenging, with a lot of new experiences, with pregnancy of my girlfriend, and becoming a father, a lot of things happened and changed so probably I needed more time to find balance on everything but I am really happy because I never stopped working and never stopped believing," Musetti said.
