Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka recently expressed her admiration for her son Leo's Easter outfit.

Azarenka joyfully welcomed her son, Leo, into the world on December 19, 2016, with her then-partner, Billy McKeague. However, the pair's relationship took a turn for the worse, leading to a prolonged legal battle for custody of their child.

The dispute caused Azarenka to take an extended professional break in late 2017. She eventually won the custody battle and currently resides in Florida with her son.

On Sunday, April 9, the two-time Grand Slam champion took to social media to share and admire her son Leo's Easter attire.

"I can't 😍," Azarenka captioned her Instagram story.

Marta Kostyuk counters Victoria Azarenka's claims of Players Council's aid to Ukrainian players

On March 24, Victoria Azarenka responded to Iga Swiatek's opinion that the tennis world has not done enough to support Ukrainian players during the conflict.

Obviously, there are certain players that have different feelings and behaviours. Overall, I don’t necessarily share the same opinion as Iga does. I would encourage her to look at the things that have been done before she makes comments," she said.

Former World No. 1 Azarenka asserted that as a WTA Players Council member, she could provide evidence of the work that has been done to assist Ukrainian players.

"Obviously, as a player council (member), I am happy to provide all those facts that have been done. And I think that would be a more appropriate way to have that conversation," she added.

However, Marta Kostyuk has contested Azarenka's assertions regarding the WTA Players Council's efforts to aid Ukrainian players amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Kostyuk, along with Lesia Tsurenko and Elina Svitolina on Friday, April 7, held a virtual meeting with the WTA to discuss the tour's policy concerning the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

During the meeting, Kostyuk raised a question that she had previously posed on multiple occasions.

"Are we (Ukrainians) on equal terms with Russian and Belarusian women?" Kostyuk asked at the time.

Kostyuk's repeated questioning went unanswered until WTA Players Council member Sloane Stephens asked for clarification and offered assistance.

This was the first time the Players Council had provided aid to Ukrainian players, according to Kostyuk, which is in contradiction to the claims made by Victoria Azarenka.

"I'd like to note that the communication with the representatives of the Players' council took place for the first time since the beginning of the war. Until this conversation, no one was interested in what can be and should be done to help Ukrainians, who suffer because of the war," she said.
