Victoria Azarenka received an adorable gift on Valentine’s Day as the two-time Australian Open champion’s son Leo made the sweetest gesture on this special day.

The Belarusian tennis player is a single mother and gave birth to Leo on December 19, 2016. The former World No. 1 welcomed her son with her then-boyfriend Billy McKeague. The couple, however, reportedly split immediately after the 2017 Wimbledon championship.

After a legal battle, Victoria Azarenka gained custody of their child, and Leo has been seen accompanying the tennis player to various events ever since.

For Valentine’s Day this year, Victoria Azarenka received a rubber tennis ball as a gift from Leo, along with a handwritten note. The tennis icon gushed about the gift to her fans and followers on social media.

“To Mom. From Leo,” the 33-year-old’s son wrote on the note, drawing a heart in the center.
“My favorite Valentine,” Azarenka captioned the post.

Victoria Azarenka frequently allows her fans a glimpse into her life as a mother, as she shares regular updates on social media. The 2023 Australian Open semi-finalist recently revealed that the six-year-old wishing her a good night and asking her for a cuddle was the 'best thing' for her to hear.

“‘Good night mommy, can we cuddle?’ The best thing ever for me to hear,” she tweeted.

The two-time Grand Slam champion also declared that she and her son had a shared love for sports as the duo recently attended the NHL All-Star game in Florida. She has previously talked about Leo’s strong interest in soccer, revealing his wish to play for Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

"It was our first meeting and I'm sure it was very hard for her to go out on court and play right now, so I wish her strength so hopefully somehow, someway, things can get better," she said during her on-court interview.
