Serena Williams' ex-coach Patrick Mouratoglou recently shared some highlights from his coaching sessions with a popular star from the hit sitcom "The Office." The Frenchman offered the actor some insightful tips.
Mouratoglou gave tennis lessons to $14 million-worth (according to Celebritynetworth) actor Rainn Wilson, who played the beloved character, Dwight Schrute. Mouratoglou shared some highlights from their training sessions on Instagram.
He taught Wilson about the foundations of tennis including the distance between the feet, a tip to make an effective return while on the run, and the importance of playing the ball deep. One of Mouratoglou's pieces of advice led to Wilson sharing his appreciation in French, as he learned to successfully return a ball on the run.

Another one of Serena Williams' ex-coach's pieces of advice led to Wilson speaking an iconic line from "The Office." Mouratoglou advised Wilson to "keep it long," and the actor took this opportunity to use the sitcom's oft-repeated "That's what she said" line.
He wrote in the caption:
"The Office is a show I really like and it was a pleasure to have a coaching session with @rainnwilson! To play deep, you have to keep the ball in the racket as long a you can, but with my "keep it long" advice, I wasn’t expected that!!" Mouratoglou said.
Rainn Wilson has a longstanding love for tennis. He teamed up with Jason Biggs to take on Monica Seles and Christ Evert at the 2013 US Open in an exhibition match called "Battle of the Sexes." The women ended up winning the thriller. The American actor also appeared in the "Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios" podcast in March this year.
"They are all so unique" - Serena Williams' ex-coach Patrick Mouratoglou picks his GOAT among Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal & Novak Djokovic
In an interview with Talking Tennis in October, Serena Williams' ex-coach Patrick Mouratoglou picked Novak Djokovic as his GOAT over Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
He said,
“I think they are all, the three are so unique. Any of the three I would have liked for sure; if I had to pick one I would I pick Novak. I said this several years ago, ‘I think he’s gonna become the greatest’, when he had only 15 Grand Slams. I mean only, sorry it’s a lot, but compared to what he has now."
The Frenchman added how he would have loved to work with any of the Big 3 and later explained why he always felt that Djokovic would become the GOAT.
Mouratoglou is currently coaching Naomi Osaka, who is undergoing intense training with the Frenchman ahead of the 2025 season.
