Aryna Sabalenka has a 6-6 win-loss ratio so far at the WTA Finals
Aryna Sabalenka has been a consistent performer at the WTA Finals over the past few years. Since her debut in 2021, Sabalenka has participated in the tournament every year, maintaining an equal win-loss ratio.
In 2021, Sabalenka faced a challenging group stage, managing to secure only one win in her three round-robin matches. Her sole victory came against Iga Swiatek, where she staged a remarkable comeback to win 2-6, 6-2, 7-5. Despite this win, the Belarusian was unable to advance past the group stage.
The following year, the 26-year-old made significant strides, reaching the final of the year-end championships. Sabalenka achieved victories over Jessica Pegula, Ons Jabeur, and once again, Swiatek. However, in the final, she faced Caroline Garcia and narrowly lost 6-7(4), 4-6.
In 2023, Aryna Sabalenka continued her strong performance, reaching the semifinals of the WTA Finals. The Belarusian faced Swiatek once more, but this time, the Polish tennis star emerged victorious, eventually going on to win the championship.
