Aryna Sabalenka's first solo commercial for Nike is out, with its theme focusing purely on the Belarusian's aggressive and powerful style of play. Nike has been Sabalenka's on-court apparel and footwear sponsor since the beginning of her professional tennis career. The commercial's release comes ahead of Sabalenka's title defense at the 2025 Australian Open.
In the commercial, the reigning World No. 1 and two-time defending Australian Open champion can be seen sporting a lime green Nike tennis dress and hitting powerful shots in the direction of a car. The devastating power of Sabalenka's strokes results in several parts of the car either getting dented or broken altogether. In the background, 'Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down),' a song by the legendary Nancy Sinatra, can be heard playing.

Aryna Sabalenka is among the favorites to win the 2025 Australian Open, and if she does clinch the prestigious hardcourt Major in Melbourne again, she will join a list of all-time greats who won the Grand Slam three times in a row.
Australian Open 'three-peat' would see Aryna Sabalenka join Steffi Graf, Martina Hingis, Monica Seles and other icons as consecutive three-time winners
Margaret Court was the first woman to win the Australian Open for three straight years (1969 to 1971). Evonne Goolagong Cawley was the next to do it (1974 to 1976). Steffi Graf followed in the duo's footsteps, dominating the Major from 1988 to 1990, and Monica Seles also did it starting from 1991. From 1997 to 1999, it was Martina Hingis' turn to perform a 'three-peat' in Melbourne.
Since Hingis' 1999 triumph, no one has been able to win the Australian Open women's singles title for three years in succession. However, Aryna Sabalenka has a chance to join the illustrious list of players if she registers a title triumph at the 2025 Australian Open.
In 2023, Sabalenka faced Elena Rybakina in the final. The Belarusian didn't get off to the best of starts, eventually losing the first set 4-6. However, she bounced back in style and won the second and third sets 6-3, 6-4 respectively to clinch her maiden Grand Slam title.
Sabalenka added a second Australian Open title to her haul in January last year after a comprehensive 6-3, 6-2 demolition of Zheng Qinwen in the final. The Belarusian won her third Major title at the 2024 US Open and is set to begin her hunt for a fourth Grand Slam title triumph at the 2025 Australian Open with a first-round clash against Sloane Stephens.
