The likes of Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Barbora Krejcikova and Emma Raducanu recently put their knowledge of their fellow players to the test by attempting to identify their peers from childhood photos. While several players showed off their astute guessing skills, others were hilariously left stumped.

Earlier this year, the aforementioned players kicked off their claycourt season at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. Rybakina emerged victorious at the WTA 500 event, beating two-time defending champion Swiatek in the semifinals and triumphing over Marta Kostyuk in the final.

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix recently shared a video of the WTA stars playing a fun guessing game with childhood photos of their fellow players. While Iga Swiatek and Linda Noskova were quick to identify Elena Rybakina, Zheng Qinwen and Barbora Krejcikova struggled, with the Czech expressing surprise when Rybakina's identity was revealed.

"I have no idea," Krejcikova admitted.

Emma Raducanu and Aryna Sabalenka's pictures proved easy for everyone to guess, with the Belarusian having an adorable reaction to her own childhood photo.

"Who is this beauty?" Sabalenka joked.

A touching photo of Iga Swiatek blowing out candles on her birthday cake also drew a heartwarming reaction from the Belarusian.

"So cute," Sabalenka gushed.

Emma Raducanu, meanwhile, was proud to guess Ons Jabeur's picture correctly.

"Tell her I got that one correct," Raducanu said.

Following the conclusion of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and Barbora Krejcikova will all represent their respective countries at the Paris Olympics, commencing on July 26.

Aryna Sabalenka, however, will not join them for the prestigious sporting event, opting out due to the demanding tour schedule. The Belarusian emphasized that she needed to prioritize her health after "struggling" with physical issues in recent months.

"Well, I’m not going to play Olympics because of all the rules from the WTA with mandatory tournaments. So, I have to sacrifice something and unfortunately, I have to sacrifice the Olympics at this stage of my career," she said during her pre-tournament press conference in Berlin.
"And especially with all the struggles … I’ve been struggling last months; I feel like I need to take care of my health. But that’s so tricky. I mean, it’s too much for the scheduling, and it’s just too much. And I made the decision to take care of my health," she added.

With the start of the North American hard court swing coinciding with the Olympics, Sabalenka will commence her preparations for the US Open at the Citi Open in Washington, DC.
