Ons Jabeur and Aryna Sabalenka shared a fun moment on the Centre Court ahead of their respective campaigns at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. The duo, who are known to be close friends off the court, hilariously showed off their dance moves at the All England Club.

Sabalenka and Jabeur both suffered mid-match retirements during their quarterfinal matches at the ecotrans Ladies Open in Berlin last week. While the Belarusian had a shoulder issue, the Tunisian suffered from illness. They both recovered in time to play at Wimbledon, where Jabeur reached back-to-back finals in 2022 and 2023 and Sabalenka made it to the semifinals in 2021 and 2023.

The video of their dance on the Center Court was posted on Wimbledon's official social media channel on June 28, with the caption:

"When you and your friend match the same energy."

The pair previously showcased their dancing skills after the Belarusian’s win in the Round of 16 at the 2024 French Open. Sabalenka danced to the famous song 'Stayin’ Alive' by the Bee Gees as she descended the steps of the Philippe Chatrier tunnel where she ran into Ons Jabeur, who also joined in the fun.

The two have faced each other six times in their careers, with Aryna Sabalenka leading the head-to-head 4-2. They have clashed twice in Wimbledon and won one match each at the 2021 quarterfinals and 2023 semifinals.

Aryna Sabalenka is seeded third and Ons Jabeur is seeded 10th at this year's Wimbledon Championships, which will commence on July 1.

Two-time Australian Open champion will face American Emina Bektas, who is ranked 106th in the world. Sabalenka kicked off her season by winning her second consecutive Grand Slam in Melbourne and also reached the quarterfinals of the French Open, where she lost 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4 to Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva.

Bektas, on the other hand, will be making her second appearance at the Wimbledon main draw and has never faced Sabalenka before. The winner of this match will face either Donna Vekic or Wang Xiyu in the second round.

Two-time Wimbledon finalist Jabeur will take on Japan’s Moyuka Uchijima, who is ranked 70th in the world. Jabeur had a rather lackluster start to the season, facing early-round defeats in most of the tournaments. However, she has recently picked up her pace, reaching the quarterfinals in her last three tournaments, including the French Open.

Uchijima, on the other hand, will be playing in her first Wimbledon main draw and has never faced Jabeur before on the WTA tour. The winner of this match will face either Robin Montgomery or Olivia Gadecki.
