Ashleigh Barty was recently spotted arriving at Wimbledon with her husband, Garry Kissick, and their baby son, Hayden, ahead of her participation in the Wimbledon Invitational Doubles. The Aussie will partner her compatriot Casey Dellacqua, with whom she previously reached four Grand Slam doubles finals.

Barty and Kissick began their relationship in 2017, married in July 2022, and welcomed their son Hayden a year later. The former retired from tennis in March 2022 at the age of 25 after winning 15 singles titles, including Grand Slam victories at the French Open in 2019, Wimbledon in 2021, and the Australian Open in 2022.

On Saturday, the official Wimbledon account on X (formerly Twitter) shared a video of Barty, her husband, and their son. The family was seen all smiles while they posed for a picture.

The last time Barty featured in the doubles category at Wimbledon was in 2019 when she partnered with Victoria Azarenka. The duo defeated Lidziya Marozava and Storm Hunter in the first round, and in the second round, they knocked out Rebecca Peterson and Tamara Zidanšek before withdrawing in the third round against Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Danielle Collins.

Ashleigh Barty won the Wimbledon Championships in 2021, becoming the first Australian to win the title since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1980.

She kicked off her campaign by defeating Carla Suárez Navarro, Anna Blinkova, Kateřina Siniaková, and Barbora Krejčíková in the first four rounds. In the quarterfinals, she defeated her compatriot Ajla Tomljanović, setting up a semifinal clash with Angelique Kerber, whom she also beat. In the final, Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková 6–3, 6–7(4–7), 6–3 to clinch the title.

In 2022, while speaking in an interview posted on her Instagram profile about her retirement, Barty referred to her Wimbledon victory as a pivotal moment in her career that changed her perspective.

“I’ve had a lot of incredible moments in my career that have been pivotal moments. Wimbledon last year changed a lot for me as a person and for me as an athlete when you work so hard your whole life for one goal, and I’ve been able to share that with so many incredible people," Ashleigh Barty said (1:39)
"But to be able to win Wimbledon which was my dream, my one true dream that I wanted in tennis, that really changed my perspective and I just had that gut feeling after Wimbledon and had spoken to my team quite a lot about it," she added.

Ashleigh Barty spent a cumulative 121 weeks as World No. 1 and is the second player, after Justine Henin, to retire while topping the WTA rankings.
