"Off to Florida to get the amazing @cocogauff ready for her tennis season! Her hair was custom-colored using Redken Shades EQ for added contrast, then styled into knotless braids in gorgeous ginger tones. Finished with @carolsdaughter products to keep it nourished and protected. Always a joy to work with Coco!"
The former World No. 2 shared the post in her Instagram stories and wrote:
"the best!!!"
Gauff ended her 2024 season with the WTA Finals singles trophy after taking the French Open doubles and China Open titles. Taylor Fritz also had an impressive 2024 season, reaching the US Open finals and the semi-final stage of the WTA Finals.
Coco Gauff on playing the mixed doubles match: "I was having a good time"
Fresh off her strong finish to the 2024 season, Coco Gauff entered the United Cup as the female frontrunner of the US team. Despite the pressure of being in that position, Gauff said she had fun throughout her mixed doubles match at the 2025 United Cup.
Gauff said (via ASAP Sports),
"Oh, yeah, I was having fun. The bench... I was laughing. I was having a good time. I wasn't thinking about the pressure, to be honest. I was just like, whatever...Only so much I can do in a mixed doubles match, too. I was just trying my best to have fun and enjoy it, yeah."
The US team will next go up against Croatia, which is represented by Donna Vekic, Lucija Ciric Bagaric, Ivan Dodig Borna Coric, and Petra Marcinko. The two nations will play their tie on December 31, 2024.
