Caroline Wozniacki's husband, David Lee, was on his feet as he enthusiastically celebrated the Dane's epic match point save in a 20-shot rally during her fourth-round match against Beatriz Haddad Maia at the 2024 US Open. However, it was the Brazilian who eventually won the topsy-turvy match 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to reach the quarterfinals.

Wozniacki, who came out of retirement last year, was in scintillating form at Flushing Meadows, taking down Nao Hibino, Renata Zarazua, and Jessika Ponchet in straight sets to reach the fourth round for a second consecutive year. Lasy year, Wozniacki revealed that Lee was very supportive of her decision to return to tennis.

“It would have been easy for him to say, ‘We’re living a great life, we’re chilling, let’s just sit back and enjoy.’ But instead, he was like ‘Go for it, I’m here to support you and we’ll figure it out as a family. We’ll do it together and we’ll have fun doing it'," she said. (via Vogue)
