Coco Gauff could not pass up the chance of using a hilarious wordplay on the term 'serve'. She posted a TikTok about practicing her 'serve' as instructed by coach Brad Gilbert during her Wimbledon practice sessions.

The 20-year-old has received criticism regarding her service game in the past. Gauff has racked up forgettable stats when it comes to double faults. On multiple occasions, she has reached the double figures in double faults in matches. At the 2024 Italian Open, the American made 41 double faults in the first four matches.

Although the youngster has managed to win seven singles titles and even a Grand Slam, a cutback on losing points on serve can help her go a long way.

For that reason, she was asked to practice serves by her coach Gilbert. Gauff, however, gave a hilarious twist to practicing 'serves' as she 'served up looks' instead. She captioned her video:

"My coach told me to practice my serve so I did"

A successful Wimbledon run can help Coco Gauff achieve multiple milestones

Coco Gauff's breakthrough came at Wimbledon in 2019 when she reached the fourth round as a 15-year-old. Since then, she has achieved another fourth-round finish, a third-round finish, and a disappointing first-round exit last year.

However, this year, things will be different for the American who will be entering the 2024 Wimbledon as a second seed and as a Grand Slam winner (US Open 2023). Several milestones await the 20-year-old if she can go all the way at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club.

She could become the youngest Wimbledon champion in the past two decades. Previously, in 2004, 17-year-old Maria Sharapova caused a huge upset by defeating Serena Williams in the final at the Grasscourt Slam to win her first Major title. A close second would be 21-year-old Petra Kvitova winning the title in 2011.

Next, she could become the only American after Serena Williams to win multiple Grand Slam titles. Several American tennis legends, such as Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova, have dominated women's tennis over the years. However, since Serena Williams, no American woman has won multiple Majors.

Gauff, who has won on the hard court on home soil, can also become the youngest player to win a Grand Slam on different surfaces since Sharapova achieved the feat in 2006. The Russian won the US Open in 2006 as a 19-year-old, adding to her Wimbledon title.
