The 2025 season is on the horizon, and Coco Gauff has already begun preparing for it. The American recently embarked on an intense pre-season training regimen.

Gauff had a solid 2024 season, claiming victories at the China Open (6-1, 6-3 win over Karolina Muchova) and the ASB Classic in January. The 20-year-old also triumphed in doubles at the French Open, partnering with Katerina Siniaková.

Additionally, Gauff capped off her season on a high note, clinching the 2024 WTA Finals in Riyadh. The World No. 3 powered past top players like Iga Swiatek, compatriot Jessica Pegula, and Aryna Sabalenka, ultimately defeating China's Zheng Qinwen in the final.

Gauff would look to replicate her successful run in the upcoming season. The 2023 U.S. Open champion recently engaged in intense training, incorporating exercises like bench presses, reverse crunches, and sprinting. Interestingly, she also tried her hand at beach volleyball, which appeared to be a joyful addition to her routine.

Coco Gauff and her strength and conditioning coach, Stephane Dal Soglio, shared a joint Instagram post featuring the training clip.

"Pre season part 1! A little sneak peek of pre season pro athlete training. A little bit of fun, and a lot of hard work!! Let's go get it," they wrote.

Coco Gauff recently shared a glimpse of her track workout on Instagram, revealing the details of her intense training session. She admitted she was glad not to have chosen track and field as her sport.

"Me finishing my last 400m😭you girl was tired. Been doubling up fitness sessions almost all week plus tennis practice every day loll. Today's "I'm glad I didn't choose track as my sport" workout was 4 sets of 500m, 3 sets of 800M and 5 sets of 400m to finish it off (which was my fav)."

Subsequently, Gauff shared another story, resharing a post from her coach, Stephane Dal Soglio, that highlighted her workout routine. She also mentioned her favorite exercise from the session.

"Lol I know you guys like to see the workouts but I never post them lol😭so click this post and you'll see all the fun and not so fun ones😭This one is my personal fav aka the least amount of "work" one."

The 2025 season will feature 116 tournaments on the ATP and WTA calendars, starting with the third annual United Cup in Australia. The World No. 3 will debut for Team USA in the mixed-team event.
