After winning the title at the 2024 Rothesay International, Daria Kasatkina hilariously encouraged her fans to check out her vlog, "What The Vlog," which she makes with her girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako. The Russian defeated Leylah Fernandez in the final to win her first title on grass.

To prepare for her 2024 Wimbledon Championships campaign, Kasatkina competed in two grass court tournaments: the Ecotrans Ladies Open and the Rothesay International.

At the Ecotrans Ladies Open in Berlin, the World No.14 secured a victory over Marta Kostyuk in the first round but was defeated by Aryna Sabalenka in the second. Meanwhile at the Rothesay International in Eastbourne, Daria Kasatkina, seeded sixth, kicked off her campaign with a solid 6-4, 6-2 win against Wang Xinyu in the first round. She then defeated Yuan Yue 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 in the second round

Kasatkina then went onto overcome wildcard Emma Raducanu 6-2, 6-2, and third seed Jasmine Paolini 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. In the final showdown, Daria Kasatkina defeated Leylah Fernandez 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and 50 minutes to secure her seventh career title and her first since the 2022 Granby National Bank Championships, which she had won by defeating Daria Saville 6-4, 6-4 in the championship match.

Following her win over Fernandez, Daria Kasatkina was asked to sign a camera lens and if she wanted, to include a message with her autograph. The Russian stood in front of the lens with her hands on her hips for a few seconds and then said, "Watch 'What The Vlog' this week."

Kasatkina co-runs this vlog with her girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako, who takes charge of filming, editing, music, and subtitles for the channel.

Following her win over Leylah Fernandez in the final of the 2024 Rothesay International, Daria Kasatkina expressed her relief at winning the title in Eastbourne, likening it to shedding a heavy burden. The Russian had previously reached the final in Eastbourne last year but lost the title to Madison Keys, who had defeated her 6–2, 7–6(13).

"It's been a year, but it feels like it's been a few days since last year when I was standing here. I just feel like I put down some very heavy backpack. Even though I understand that playing fourth final of the year, it's a great achievement, still, if you don't win, you have a very bitter feeling after that," Kasatkina said in her victory speech.

Kasatkina also talked about the challenges she had faced against Fernandez in the second set of the match, but said that she was pleased with her ability to overcome them and secure the title

"The second set, it's been a roller coaster. Honestly didn't feel great being 3-0 up and then 3-4 down in five minutes, ten minutes. But I'm proud of myself how I stayed there, how I didn't lose my mind, because was pretty easy, I was 3-4 down, returning with new balls against the wind. That could be a very tough moment, and it was a tough moment, but really happy how I overcome this situation," she added.

Looking ahead, Daria Kasatkina will next compete in the 2024 Wimbledon Championship, where she is seeded 14th. She will begin her campaign at the grasscourt Major with a first-round match against Zhang Shuai.
