Iga Swiatek emphatically lifted the title at the 2024 French Open after defeating Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-1 in the final. This was the Pole's fourth title in Paris and her third Roland Garros title in a row.
Swiatek clinched the triple crown on the clay surface in 2024, winning the Madrid Open and the Italian Open before winning the French Open. At the Italian Open trophy presentation, Swiatek joked that there would hopefully be tiramisu in the trophy the next time she wins the title in Rome.
"Thank you guys, hopefully if I win next time, there's gonna be a tiramisu here. I'm still waiting," she joked during the post-match press conference.
The joke followed her to the 2024 French Open as well as she hilariously 'checked for tiramisu' inside the trophy. Watch the video below:
The Pole lifted her fourth title in the French capital on Saturday, June 8. However, this time she was cautious while lifting her trophy and held it securely before raising it to the crowd. Last year, the lid of the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen fell while Swiatek was lifting it.

Iga Swiatek: "It's been a really emotional tournament."
Iga Swiatek declared her love for Roland Garros at the 2024 French Open trophy presentation ceremony. The Pole said she eagerly waits for the clay court Slam every year.
"It's amazing to be here. I love this place honestly. I wait every year to come back here. And yeah, thank you," Iga Swiatek said.
Swiatek remembered her second-round match against Naomi Osaka when she was on the brink of her earliest exit at Roland Garros. The World No. 1 said that she needed the belief of the crowd to push through.
"I was almost out of the tournament in the second round. So, thank you guys for staying behind my back and cheering for me. I also needed to believe that this one is going to be possible. So, it's been a really emotional tournament," Swiatek said.
Swiatek ended her speech by thanking her family, sponsors, and Polish fans for their unwavering support.
"So thank you for supporting me. Also, you know to everybody at home, my sister, my family, my sponsors for constant support. I won't bore you anymore. Thank you for all the support, and all the Polish fans and Polish flags," she added.
Iga Swiatek takes her tally of trophies won in 2024 to 5, as she won the Qatar Open, Indian Wells Masters, Madrid Open, and the Italian Open before the French Open. The Pole has lost only 4 matches this year.
