Iga Swiatek recently gave a shoutout to perfume house Lancome, for whom, she is a brand ambassador. The company is owned by L'Oreal, who have a net worth of over $191 billion (as per macrotrends).
Swiatek ended the 2024 season with 61 wins out of 70 matches, winning five titles, that included the French Open and the WTA 1000 titles in Indian Wells, Madrid and Rome. Her last tournament was the Billie Jean King Cup, where she helped Poland reach the semifinals.
A video of Swiatek with a perfume of Lancome's was recently shared on social media, where the Pole could be seen spraying the scent before chanting the company's name. The video had "very professional reel, Oscar nomination" written inside it.
Swiatek became the first athlete to be a brand ambassador for Lancome in April, 2024.
"As a teenager I got an Idôle perfume by Lancôme as a gift... I liked it a lot and since then I have had some good feelings about the brand. I haven’t even thought that I will be announcing my cooperation with a beauty brand like this a couple of years later," the Pole said.
"This is huge for me. I’m glad that thanks to this partnership I will be able to celebrate my femininity because as a tennis player, wearing mainly sports clothes, I don’t have a lot of opportunities to do so. With Lancôme, we’re going to develop a CSR project in Poland that will support women in the job market, too. I’m looking forward to this journey," she added.
Iga Swiatek is set to appear in the World Tennis League
