Iga Swiatek shared a touching moment with tennis icons Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova during the trophy presentation ceremony following her win at the 2024 French Open. This victory was the Pole's fourth title at Roland Garros.
Top seed and two-time defending champion Swiatek secured a decisive victory over 12th seed Jasmine Paolini with a score of 6-2, 6-1 in a swift 68 minutes at Court Philippe Chatrier to win her third consecutive French Open title and her fifth Grand Slam title overall.
The World No.1 became the first woman since Monica Seles in 1992-94 and Justine Henin in 2005-07 to achieve three consecutive titles at Roland Garros. Swiatek's remarkable 21 consecutive wins at the tournament, which began with her title run in 2022, now place her fourth on the list of longest winning streaks at the clay court Major in the Open Era, trailing only behind tennis legends Chris Evert (29), Seles (25), and Henin (24).
During the trophy presentation, following her win over Jasmine Paolini, Iga Swiatek shared heartwarming hugs with Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova who presented her with the trophy.

En route to the final, Iga Swiatek defeated qualifier Leolia Jeanjean with a commanding score of 6-1, 6-2 in the first round and then faced a tough challenge against Naomi Osaka in the second round, ultimately triumphing with a score of 7-6(1), 1-6, 7-5.
Swiatek continued her winning streak by defeating Marie Bouzkova 6-4, 6-2 and Anastasia Potapova with an impressive score of 6-0, 6-0 in the third round and fourth rounds, respectively.
In the quarterfinals, the World No.1 faced fifth seed Marketa Vondrousova and secured a convincing victory with a score of 6-0, 6-2 and then overcame third seed Coco Gauff 6-2, 6-4 in the semifinals to secure her place in her third consecutive French Open title match.

In a moment reminiscent of this year's French Open, Iga Swiatek was presented with her 2023 French Open trophy by tennis legend Chris Evert.
The defending champion, Swiatek, entered last year's tournament as the top seed. She kicked off her campaign at Roland Garros by defeating Cristina Bucsa 6-4, 6-0 and Claire Liu 6-4, 6-0 in the first round and second rounds, respectively.
The Pole then dominated Xinyu Wang 6-0, 6-0 in the third round and advanced to the quarterfinals after her fourth-round opponent, Lesia Tsurenko, retired due to an illness.
In the quarterfinals, the World No.1 overcame Coco Gauff 6-4, 6-2, and then secured her spot in the final by triumphing over Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-2, 7-6(7) in the semifinals.
In the championship match, Iga Swiatek defeated Karolína Muchova 6–2, 5–7, 6–4 to claim the 2023 French Open title. With this victory, she became the youngest woman to win four Grand Slam titles, since Serena Williams achieved the feat back in 2002.
During the trophy presentation ceremony, Swiatek was awarded her third clay court Major title by seven-time French Open champion Chris Evert. The 18-time Grand Slam champion graced the ceremony wearing a vibrant pink blazer and trousers.
