Jannik Sinner and his girlfriend, Anna Kalinskaya, joyously celebrated his first US Open title with a kiss. This victory marked Sinner's second Grand Slam as well as his second Major of the season .
Sinner, who was the top seed at Flushing Meadows, defeated the 12th seed, Taylor Fritz, with a score of 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 in two hours and 16 minutes at the Arthur Ashe Stadium to claim the 2024 US Open trophy. This win made him the third man in the Open Era to secure his first two Grand Slam titles in the same season, following his Australian Open title he won earlier this year when he defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final.
Following his win over Fritz, Jannik Sinner rushed to the stands to celebrate with his coaches, hugging them and creating a jubilant huddle as a result. He then embraced his girlfriend, Anna Kalinskaya, and shared an affectionate kiss with her . British singer Seal was also present in Sinner's box and he congratulate the Italian on his maiden US Open title win.

Jannik Sinner entered the 2024 US Open after competing in two ATP Masters 1000 hardcourt tournaments. He participated in the Canadian Open, where he was the defending champion but was eliminated in the quarterfinals by eventual runner-up Andrey Rublev. He then won the Cincinnati Open by defeating Frances Tiafoe 7-6(4), 6-2 in the final.
At the New York Slam, Sinner overcame Mackenzie McDonald, Alex Michelsen, Christopher O'Connell, and Tommy Paul in the first four rounds. He then secured a victory over fifth seed Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals and advanced to the final after defeating 25th seed Jack Draper in the semifinals.

During his victory speech following his win over Taylor Fritz in the final of the 2024 US Open, Jannik Sinner expressed that winning the title meant a lot to him considering the challenging circumstances he faced during the tournament, alluding to the doping scandal he went through.
Sinner thanked his team for their support and standing by him throughout the entire ordeal.
"This title, for me means means so much because the the last period of of my career was was really not easy. That is my team, who supports me every day, the people who are close to me . I love tennis . I practise a lot for this kind of stages," Sinner said.
Following his second Grand Slam win at the US Open, Jannik Sinner will next compete at the 2024 Shanghai Masters. The ATP Masters 1000 tournament will take place from October 2nd to 13th and will feature players like Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev.
