During Sinner's match against Marozsan in the second round, the Italian hit a stunning winner after diving and rolling on the court to end a rally.

The Italian responded well to a drop shot by Marozsan, who then hit a brilliant shot that could have been a winner but Sinner dived while attempting to reach the ball and pulled off a rolling shot. The latter then recovered in time to run across the court to hit a passing backhand winner.

This tumbling shot came a day after the World No. 1 hit a similar shot during his first-round encounter against Tallon Griekspoor.

During the second set, at 3-2 in Sinner's favor with the Italian having a breakpoint, the ball struck the net cord and changed direction. The World No. 1 was caught off-guard but quickly regained composure and started running towards the ball. He dived to reach the ball and hit a stunning winner while rolling over.

“It was only a dream to become No. 1 in the world and then if my maximum was No. 3, it was No. 3. But after my career, I want to say that I gave 100 percent every day,” Jannik Sinner said.

Sinner stated that his goal was to get better as a player and person and was always focused on working hard.

"I wake up with a goal and then my biggest goal is to get better as a player and as a person. And in my mind, I always was looking forward to working hard, and [I thought] with my work ethic, and then with my mentality, something positive was going to happen," he said.
