Jannik Sinner recently tried his hand at golf in the presence of his father Hanspeter. However, the World No. 1's golfing skills were a far cry from his usual clinical abilities on the tennis court. Ultimately, Sinner produced a hilarious fail, leaving both himself and his father laughing out loud.
2024 was a season of firsts for Jannik Sinner. The Italian won the first two Grand Slams of his career, first at the Australian Open and then at the US Open. He also won three Masters 1000 events in Miami, Cincinnati and Shanghai. The 23-year-old capped off his stunning year with a title triumph at the year-end Nitto ATP Finals and then helped Italy to win the Davis Cup for the second straight year.
Now, with some time on his hands, before his preparations for the new season get underway, Jannik Sinner and his father Hanspeter took to the golf course. Darren Cahill, one of the Italian's two coaches filmed the World No. 1 as he lined up a swing. However, hilariously, Sinner's swing barely managed to make contact with the ball. Soon, the Italian and his father were in stitches.
Cahill later shared the moment via Instagram, and it didn't take long to surface on X (formerly Twitter).

Jannik Sinner set up a semifinal encounter against three-time Major finalist Casper Ruud at the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals. Ahead of the match, the World No. 1, accompanied by father Hanspeter, brother Marc, and his team, took to a soccer pitch in Turin. It was an all-smiles affair, as Sinner could be heard laughing in the video that captured the heartwarming scenes.
Ultimately, the reigning Australian Open and US Open champion swept past Ruud with a comprehensive 6-1, 6-2 win. This victory set the Italian up for a clash against Taylor Fritz, who the World No. 1 comfortably dispatched in the final at Flushing Meadows and then in the Round Robin phase of the Nitto ATP Finals.
The final eventually went Sinner's way, with the Italian registering a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Fritz to win his maiden Nitto ATP Finals title. Later, his Davis Cup title triumph with Italy made him the first player in tennis history to win two Majors, the year-end finals, and the Davis Cup in the same season.
