Matteo Berrettini stars in a new advertisement for Gran Cereale cookies. The commercial shows the Italian taking on three separate roles as he samples the different cookie flavors.
Gran Cereale is an Italian brand that focuses on creating cereal-based products that are healthy for the consumer as well as the environment.
Berrettini has starred in multiple ad campaigns for the brand in the past.
"A break with Grancereale and the day has a completely different flavour," reads the caption for a previous ad.
In a new commercial, Matteo Berrettini embodies different roles as he splits himself into three to enjoy the different flavors of the cookies. The advert shows the three Berrettini's choosing their favorite flavor between the original classic flavor, fruit flavor and chocolate flavor. He posted the commercial on Instagram and tagged the cookie brand.
"When you don’t know how to choose your favorite @grancereale, so you split yourself into three," the Italian captioned the post.
How Matteo Berrettini fared at the 2023 Australian Open
Matteo Berretini had a disappointing Australian Open, crashing out in the first round of the tournament. The 13th seed faced Andy Murray in his opening match of the tournament. Murray was up 6-3, 6-3 before Berrettini fought back to take the next two sets. However, he faltered in the deciding set tiebreak and lost the match 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(7), 6-7(10).
The 26-year-old had reached the semifinals of the previous edition of the Australian Open and slipped down the rankings to World No. 22 after his early defeat.
Berrettini expressed his disappointment with his performance on social media. He said that the trip to Melbourne Park was short but not as sweet as he would have hoped. He added that he would learn from the loss and come back stronger and thanked his fans and well-wishers for all their support.
"Melbourne….the trip was short and not so sweet. But as always I take away the lessons and will come back a better player. Thank you for all the support and kind messages. I’m excited to get back on court and compete again soon," the Italian wrote on Instagram.
The Italian used the downtime after the Australian Open to enjoy some basketball matches and fining dining restaurants in the company of model Melissa Satta.
Matteo Berrettini will next compete at the 2023 Mexican Open in Acapulco, beginning on February 27 alongside Carlos Alcaraz, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud among others.
