Novak Djokovic is one win away from his eighth Wimbledon title and his 25th Grand Slam trophy, but he is also having some fun on the way. The Serb delighted the fans and his family with his violin celebration after beating Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals on Friday (July 12).

Djokovic has been in fine form at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club this year, dropping only two sets in five matches. He defeated Vit Kopriva, home favorite Jacob Fearnley, Alexei Popyrin, 15th seed Holger Rune, ninth seed Alex de Minaur (W/O), and Musetti en route to the final. The former World No. 1 is aiming to win his record-breaking 25th Major and match Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon titles.

The second seed’s violin celebration has become a talking point of the prestigious grass-court tournament, as he first performed it after his third-round win over Popyrin. He said he wanted to do it for his five-year-old daughter Tara, who is learning to play the instrument.

The Serb's children have been watching his matches on the court along with his wife Jelena.

“That was for Tara. My [daughter] has been playing violin for some time already, six months, and we agreed that I would celebrate that way," Novak Djokovic said in a post-match interview with Serbian media (via The Sun).

The 37-year-old repeated the celebration after his semifinal victory over 25th seed Musetti, who reached the last four at a Grand Slam for the first time. The Serb won 6-4, 7-6(2), 6-4 to reach his 37th Major final.

The footage of the celebration surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) on July 12, where the Serb can be seen imitating playing violin on the Center Court after his victory over Musetti. The camera switched to his daughter Tara, who was enthusiastically jumping in the stands.

Novak Djokovic will face Carlos Alcaraz, the defending champion and French Open winner, in a rematch of last year’s final, which the Spaniard won in a five-set thriller. Third seed Alcaraz beat Daniil Medvedev in four sets in the other semifinal on Friday.

Novak Djokovic revealed details about the adorable musical group he has created with his kids Stefan and Tara.

Recently featured on the cover of Vogue Adria's Summer 2024 issue, the former World No. 1 weighed in on his musical bond with his children, saying:

"Tara plays the violin, Stefan loves to play the guitar, and I play the saxophone. Sometimes our jams last for hours, and it’s my favorite part of the day or trip."

The Serb added that they carry their instruments on the tour and suggested that their "little band" helped him win the 2023 US Open.

"Yes, I admit – we take our instruments on trips. Maybe my little band was responsible for my victory at the US Open and the twenty-fourth Grand Slam I won," he added.

Second seed Novak Djokovic defeated third seed Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 in the US Open final to clinch his 24th Grand Slam title, tying with Margaret Court's record.
