Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa are among the most popular tennis couples. They are popularly called Tsitsidosa by fans, and they made an appearance at the World Tennis League in Abu Dhabi recently.
The duo traditionally prepares for the new season in the Middle East, as Badosa has a base in Dubai, and Tsitsipas generally loves to travel and has been coming there for years. Due to that, both have often participated in the World Tennis League in the past, and they did so again this year.
Fans got a chance to see them compete in singles and also in doubles. Tsitsipas was also a very vocal supporter of other players during the event, as the Greek player was spotted cheering on Iga Swiatek during her match. He employed the popular French chant, which has become a staple at all French tennis events in recent years.
You can take a look at the video below:
Tsitsipas even acknowledged the chant by adding a comment to the video.
"Cheering on Iga Swiatek the way the French do at Roland-Garros," Stefanos Tsitsipas wrote on X.
After chanting out the melody, Stefanos Tsitsipas could be seen talking to Badosa as the duo watched the match unfold.
