Taylor Fritz perfectly mimicked basketball legends such as LeBron James and Steph Curry by recreating the iconic USA Basketball team Olympic photo ahead of his campaign at the 2024 Paris Masters. The American men's basketball team had originally taken the photo during the quadrennial event this year at the Accor Arena, the venue where the ATP Masters 1000 hard court tournament is also taking place.
Following his runner-up finish at the 2024 US Open, where he lost the title to Jannik Sinner, Fritz represented Team World at the Laver Cup and then competed at the Asian swing. He was the top seed at the 2024 Japan Open but lost in the first round to eventual champion Arthur Fils 4-6, 6-3, 3-6.
The World No. 6 then participated at the Shanghai Masters, reaching the semifinals before being defeated by eventual runner-up Novak Djokovic 4-6, 6-7(6).
Taylor Fritz is currently in Paris for the season's final ATP Masters 1000 event. He was recently asked to recreate the USA Basketball team's iconic photo which was originally shared by Kevin Durant.
With precision and attention to detail, Fritz successfully mimicked the poses of LeBron James, Steph Curry, and other basketball stars to recreate the photo flawlessly.
