On August 8, 2022, which turned out to be Roger Federer's final birthday as a professional tennis player, he posted a hilarious post on his social media where he joked about being old.

On his 41st birthday, the Swiss joked how one can realize that they were getting older when the candles costed more than the cake itself. He later thanked everyone for all the wishes.

"You know you’re getting old when the candles cost more than the cake. 🤣 Thanks for all the amazing birthday wishes.🍷🍰🎈," he wrote.

Even though he retired in 2022, the Swiss has still been in touch with the game and can often be seen at various tournaments.
