Martina Navratilova has questioned the silence of US Attorney General Merrick Garland over the FBI reportedly handing over Hunter Biden's bank records to John Solomon and Rudy Giuliani. Solomon, a prominent journalist and political commentator, and Giuliani, a politician, have close ties with the former US President and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Solomon and Giuliani have come under fire in the past for their respective roles in spreading misinformation. For instance, the former previously actively engaged in advancing conspiracy theories suggesting that reigning US President Joe Biden and his son Hunter had interfered in Ukraine's politics. Giuliani, on the other hand, has also been accused of corruption and making false claims over the years.
Recently, a user on X shared a post stating that the FBI had accessed Hunter Biden's bank records and later handed them out to Solomon and Giuliani. In turn, the post stated that Solomon and Giuliani had handed those records over to prominent media personalities and channels that are allegedly aligned with the Republicans.

Donald Trump, at a recent rally in North Carolina's Wilmington, promised to women across the US that he would enhance their lives to such an extent that they would no longer have any thoughts on abortion.
Trump's exaggerated claims came in the wake of the Republicans' anti-abortion stance being severely criticized after a Georgia woman succumbed to abortion complications. The complications stemmed from a delay in the woman receiving appropriate treatment, which, according to many political commentators, is a direct consequence of Georgia's abortion laws.
The former US President's bold claims did not impress Martina Navratilova, who took to X to lambast him.
"What a toxic narcissist- and getting worse," Navratilova wrote.
Navratilova had previously taken a vicious swipe at Trump and judges in the US Supreme Court aligned with the Republicans. According to her, their collective actions have started resulting in the death of healthy women. She was referring to the tragic passing of the Georgia woman, Amber Thurman.
