Caroline Wozniacki's basketball skills drew a reaction from swimming legend Michael Phelps. Phelps, the most decorated Olympian with 28 medals, compared her skills to her husband and former basketballer David Lee.
Wozniacki announced her relationship with her now-husband Lee in 2017 and got married in 2019. She retired from tennis in 2020 after losing to Ons Jabeur in the third round at the Australian Open. Later, the couple welcomed their first child, Olivia Wozniacki Lee, in 2021, and their second child, James Wozniacki Lee, in 2022.
The Dane announced her return to tennis in a Vogue essay in June 2023. She played her first match in three years at the Montreal Open and Cincinnati Masters. Since then, she has been playing consistently and is up to World No. 70 in the WTA rankings.
Recently, the former World No. 1 shared a video of herself and her kids Olivia and James playing basketball. The Dane impressively made many shots.
Her basketball skills drew a reaction from Michael Phelps. The American swimmer hilariously questioned who would win if she and her husband Lee had a face-off.
"Yes!!! Gotta ask… who wins.. you or @davidlee ?!?," Phelps wrote.
Wozniacki's husband responded to Phelps and wrote:
"Debatable at this point 😂😂😂."
The Dane found the exchange hilarious and reacted with laughing emojis.

Caroline Wozniacki details her experience as a parent: "Having a child turns your world upside down"
Caroline Wozniacki detailed how having a child can turn your world upside down. In her essay for Vogue, announcing her comeback, she stated that athletes were selfish and entirely focused on being the best in their sport.
"You’re so selfish as an athlete. David played 12 seasons in the NBA, and he’d agree with me: Your entire focus is being the best competitor that you can possibly be," Wozniacki wrote.
However, Wozniacki said that having a child can change your outlook toward life, including altering your schedule to suit the kids.
"But then having a child turns your world upside down. It’s not about you anymore—it’s about this little human, and their schedule, their milestones, doing what they need to do. It’s a whole new world of wonder, and it changed us," she wrote.
Caroline Wozniacki was last seen at the 2024 US Open, where she lost to Beatriz Haddad Maia in the fourth round.
