Indian tennis star Yuki Bhambri and his French partner Albano Olivetti advanced to the second round of the ongoing Wimbledon 2024 men’s doubles competition after securing a win over Alexander Bublik and Alexander Shevchenko from Kazakhstan by 6-4, 6-4 in two straight sets.

Yuki Bhambri and Albano Olivetti started off on a dominating note, winning their serves in the opening four games. However, they broke the opposition’s serve in the fifth game to turn the tables.

Though the opposition pair tried to fight back with a serve break of their own, they couldn’t stop the Indo-French pair from winning the first set on a comfortable note by 6-4.

Moving to the details of the second set, it turned out to be a tough contest. Nevertheless, Bhambri and Olivetti broke the serve in the fifth game without losing a point. Though the opposition duo tried to take the game long, they failed to extend the match to the third set.

The Indo-French duo Yuki Bhambri and Albano Olivetti will lock horns with the eighth-seeded German duo Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz in the second round of Wimbledon 2024.
