Wimbledon prize money breakdown: How much did 2024 champion Barbora Krejcikova and runner-up Jasmine Paolini earn?

The women's singles tournament at Wimbledon 2024 came to an end, with Barbora Krejcikova winning her second Grand Slam singles title after beating Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 in the final. The Czech will earn £2,700,000 for her exploits.

krejcikova started the match strongly and cruised through the first set, winning it 6-2. However, Paolini bounced back and dominated the second to take it by the same margin and force the match into a tiebreaker.

Krejcikova broke in the seventh game of the third set and this turned out to be decisive as she managed to hold her serve and eventually win the match to clinch her second Major singles title, having previously won the French Open in 2021.

The Czech's exploits at the London Major will see her earn a prize money of £2,700,000 while Paolini will receive £1,400,000 for her runner-up finish.

Fourth seed Elena Rybakina and Donna Vekic were both knocked out in the semifinals and they will each receive £715,000. 13th seed Jelena Ostapenko, 21st seed Elina Svitolina, 19th seed Emma Navarro and Lulu Sun all lost in the quarterfinals, and they will each earn £375,000.

Coco Gauff, Emma Raducanu and Paula Badosa are among the players who lost in the fourth round of Wimbledon 2024 and they, along with the other five women will each be paid £226,000.

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek and two-time runner-up Ons Jabeur were among the 16 players who were eliminated in the third round of the London Major. They will each receive £143,000. The players who were knocked out in the second round of Wimbledon 2024 will each be paid £93,000 while those who lost in the first round will each fetch £60,000.

Fourth seeds Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova will face second seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routcliffe in the women's doubles final at Wimbledon 2024.

The Czech-American duo booked their place in the title clash after ousting top seeds Hsieh Su-wei and Elise Mertens while Dabrowski and Routcliffe defeated the All-American pair of Caroline Dolehide and Desiraw Krawczyk.

Whoever wins the final, will earn a prize money of £650,000 while the runner-up will earn £330,000. The teams who were out in the semifinals will each be paid £167,000 while those who lost in the quarterfinals will each pocket £84,000.

The pairs who were ousted in the third round of Wimbledon 2024 will each fetch £42,000 while the teams who lost in the second round will each receive £25,000. The duos who were eliminated in the first round of the women's doubles event at the London Major will each earn £15,750.
