Winners of United Cup 2025: Full results of event led by Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Taylor Fritz & others

The 2025 United Cup, the first big tournament of the tennis calendar, concluded with the Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz-led USA winning its second title. The United Cup also featured several top tennis stars, including Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud and Alex de Minaur.

Team USA qualified for its second final at the United Cup after bettering the Czech Republic in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Poland reached its second consecutive final at the tournament after defeating Kazakhstan in the last-four tie. The title contest took place in Sydney, with Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek kicking off the proceedings.

Both women struggled with serve in the first set, but Gauff managed to break Swiatek right at the end to take the lead. The American turned up the heat in the second set. She recovered from a break deficit and took advantage of the Pole's lack of focus to take the match 6-4, 6-4.

Taylor Fritz built on Gauff's momentum and gave the Americans a one-set advantage in the men's singles tie. But Hubert Hurkacz turned the tide in the second set to force a decider and keep Poland in the competition. In the third set, both men displayed supreme serving skills, with Fritz edging past Hurkacz in the tiebreaker to win the contest 6-4, 5-7, 7-6(4).

Fritz's win in the men's singles contest enabled the United States to defeat Poland 2-0 and win the United Cup for the second time after the inaugural 2022 edition. Coco Gauff was by far the best player at the 2025 United Cup, winning all her contests in straight sets.
