Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will not be sharing the court until the 2025 season. The former’s coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, in a recent interview, ruled out - albeit in a lighter vein - the possibility of another pre-season together.

Sinner and Alcaraz trained together for the 2024 season at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy. Pictures of the two sharing court had made their way to social media, with Sinner calling it a “good day of practice”.

But while speaking to Puntodebreak, in a new interview, Ferrero ruled out the possibility of that happening this year. The Spaniard reflected on his charge’s 2024 season, saying any year a player wins a Grand Slam, leave alone two (French Open and Wimbledon for Alcaraz this year), is a good season.

Ferrero, however, was quick to add that they also needed to keep an eye on the results being posted by Sinner, who he humorously dubbed as “the other beast who has won everything”.

"We won't invite him here anymore..." Carlos Alcaraz's coach joked. "The year you win a Grand Slam is always a fantastic year. If you've won two... well, that's impressive."
"Winning a Masters 1000 like Indian Wells or an ATP 500 like Beijing further enhances the season, but of course, you have the other beast (Sinner) who has won everything," he added.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are busy training for the 2025 season, which is only a week away. The Spaniard was recently spotted hitting the gym and practice courts at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy.

Divulging a few details from his pre-season, Alcaraz’s coach said his charge was pumped for training. The first week, he said, saw them try out some new gear and get accustomed to it, while the second week involved a lot more hours of on-court practice.

"[Carlos Alcaraz] came with a lot of enthusiasm," his coach said. "The break did him great, and the two exhibitions got him a bit on track to get here. The first week focused on adaptation physical conditioning, along with tests with Babolat and Nike for shoes."
"The second week was more about volume, spending three hours on the court and facing more intense training sessions. Next week, we will start to focus more on specifics," he added.

Sinner, meanwhile, has been hitting the practice courts at a training camp in the Middle East. He had recently shared snippets from his session in Dubai.
