There isn't a huge shake-up in this week's WTA rankings as most of the top players opted to rest after the conclusion of Wimbledon. World No. 7 Zheng Qinwen was the only top 20 player in action in the past week, and she successfully defended her title in Palermo.

Zheng beat Karolina Muchova in three sets to capture her first title of the season. The Czech, who is on a comeback trail, is back in the top 30 after her run to the title round, moving up six spots to No. 29.

20-year-old Diana Shnaider's breakout season continued as she claimed her third title of the season in Budapest over the weekend. She has now won titles on all surfaces, having bagged titles on grass and hardcourts earlier this year. She jumped five spots to No. 23 after her latest triumph.

Aliaksandra Sasnovich, who lost to Shnaider in the Budapest final, is one of the biggest gainers in this week's WTA rankings. Ranked as high as No. 29 in the past, her poor string of results led to her exit from the top 100. She's now on the cusp of re-entering the region as she's up by 30 places to No. 104.

Moyuka Uchijima (No. 66), Harriet Dart (No. 80), Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (No. 81), and Erika Andreeva (No. 91) are among the other players to reach a new career high in this week's WTA rankings.

Iga Swiatek's reign atop the summit is unlikely to end any time soon. With her current tally of 11,285 points, she has a healthy lead over the second-ranked Coco Gauff, who has 8,173 points. The American is defending a good chunk of her ranking points over the next few weeks, especially at the US Open, where she's the defending champion.

Aryna Sabalanka is up next at No. 3 with 7,061 points. She missed Wimbledon due to an injury and has runner-up points to defend at the US Open. This opens the door for Elena Rybakina to move to a new career-high ranking of No. 2 in the near future.

The Kazakh is ranked No. 4 with 6,376 points and could leapfrog Gauff and Sabalenka if she outperforms them. Jasmine Paolini sits at her current career-high of No. 5, followed by Jessica Pegula at No. 6. Zheng Qinwen (No. 7), Maria Sakkari (No. 8), Danielle Collins, (No. 9), reigning Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova (No. 10) round out the top 10.
