Serena Williams is in Paris with her husband and elder daughter Olympia for the 2024 Olympic Games. On the red carpet before the opening ceremony, Ohanian was spotted holding an umbrella over Williams as it rained in the French capital.
The 41-year-old was described as a 'personal umbrella holder' of the 23-time Grand Slam champion by a Eurosport commentator. Although it is unknown if the comment was made knowing who Ohanian is, the joke reached the Reddit co-founder's Instagram account.
He posted an image of himself holding an umbrella for his daughter Olympia. In the caption he mentioned:
"I’m also Olympia’s personal umbrella holder."
In the comments on the post, Ohanian received credit for looking out for his family. An Instagram account wrote:

Ohanian joked that to receive credit he has to merely look out for his family and claimed that the bar was set too low for him.
